As Programme Operations Coordinator you will manage a group of administrators carrying out a range of tasks which underpin the activities of the newly-formed Programme Operations team. This is a great opportunity to be part of building a team within our new structure. You will gain experience of line management and team co-ordination and develop your skills relating to service design and continuous improvement.
In this role you will:
- Maintain an expert knowledge of your team's operational processes and system functionality
- Provide daily line management for a team of administrators. You will co-ordinate their activity so that they work effectively to support the work of the wider team.
- Lead and co-ordinate service improvement for the team. You will identify potential improvements and work with colleagues on proposals to put improvements into action. You will contribute to continuous improvement across the wider team and other Academic Services teams.
The team: the Programme Operations team provides an integrated, informed and responsive service to support the effective delivery of our courses. The team delivers day to day support to students in relation to their courses and manages core operational processes. It works with academic colleagues and professional support colleagues across BU to provide a high-quality student experience. You will reports to the Programme Operations Team Manager.
You will have great communication and IT skills, a commitment to continuous improvement and a strong interest in problem-solving around systems and processes.
